COUNTRY :
France

REGION :
Bourgueil

PRODUCTION :

Pierre, Emmanuel and Stéphanie Caslot

Domaine de la Chevalerie is one of the oldest estates in Restigne, a small village near Bourgueil in the Loire. Pierre Caslot is a 14th generation wine maker on the estate and connects a great deal to the tradition.
It was Pierre’s turn to take over in the mid-Seventies and his two children have ensured the family craft will continue to bridge generations as Emmanuel and Stéphanie are now working the cave and the vines too.
Pierre has been working with a bio-dynamic philosophy for years to make his Cabernet Franc on his 80 acres/32 hectare estate.
