Jean-Pierre and Corinne Laurent
The Saint Pourçain area is located on the slopes of an old volcanic mountain range in the Auvergne region of Central France. Although it’s called a Loire Valley wine (The Loire river starts there), Saint Pourçain in reality is closer to the Burgundy/Beaujolais area.
Husband Jean-Pierre, wife Corinne and son Damien work at the estate that has been owned by Corinne’s family since the beginning of the 20th century.
The property makes red, white and rosé wine on 45 acres of granite and limestone soils.
