Our winery was founded over 235 years ago. My father started bottling in 1975, also cultivating cereals and sugar beet. In 1990, my father built a guest house and in 1998 a restaurant. Since then, my Mother runs and manages them. By 2007 we were certified by the European organic association and since 2012 we’ve been certified by the Demeter association. We are one of the 75 Demeter certified wineries of Germany. We are cultivating grapes on 16 hectares in Flörsheim-Dalsheim in Rheinhessen. Since 2012 my wife Bianka (who is also a winemaker) and I, Daniel do the winery with the philosophy: “Wine just from grapes!”

Our farming practices are very simple. We do everything in accordance with biodynamic requirements. Through our style we make our wines on more kind of ways to satisfy several tastes of our clientele. Our estate wines are easier to understand and matches with an array of dishes. These are for people who are not familiar with wine or are just developing a passion for wine. Following our basic products is a “Natúr” line; a still and a sparkling wine without sulfur. Under our third line are our two Orange wines, where the white grapes are fermented spontaneously along with the skin. During the long fermentation with the skin and the seeds, the wine develops higher tannin and poliphenol content (makes the wine able to keep for a longer time). These wines are kept in wood barrel (1200l) and in a Georgian amphore (1000l).
