“We are biodynamic winery from Znojmo (South Moravia, Czech Republic). We have 2.5 hectares of vineyards in two vineyard tracks on the border of the Podyjí National Park (very different soil – one is a Paleozoic acidic soil consisting of granite and gneiss, second is a typical loess). The grapes are trodden by feet or ground on a hand mill. All vines are macerated (a few days or month, wines made in kvevri one year), than pressed on wooden hand press. Fermentation is in wooden barrels or kvevri with no additives and selected yeast. Wines are produced by long-term standing on sediments with no filtration and minimum of added sulphur only before bottling (the most of wines have 20 mg of sulphur per liter).”

“We are father and son, we come from the largest Moravian wine-growing village Velké Bílovice. We work in the vineyard without using systemic pesticides. We use organic sprays such as water glass or leached nettle. The wines are aged in oak and acacia barrels without the use of any additives or clarification.”
